Have you ever heard of the famous BLT sandwich?
BLT stands for Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato. This famous sandwich was invented around the 1900’s (Wikipedia).
Today, this classic is still hugely ordered.
Our very own recipe gives a little twist to the original BLT & serves 4:
- Cut 8 thick slices from of a loaf of your favourite bread.
- Spread a delicious helping of La William Andalouse on 4 of the slices.
- Top each slice with 2 pieces of thinly sliced bacon (may have cooled) or streaky bacon.
- Add 2 oakleaf lettuce leaves (or other type of lettuce), 4 slices of tomato and a slice of strong cheese, such as abbey or old cheddar.
- Place the other slices of bread on top and cut your sandwiches into 2.
Enjoy your meal!
